Oddly enough, proper care of the spathiphyllum will help to correct the situation.
You will have to set aside one day a week to wipe the damaged leaves with a soap solution.
Don't forget to get rid of dried leaves by cutting them off with sharp scissors - this simple action will stimulate the growth of young foliage.
Do not leave the plant in a draft and pamper it with a warm shower from time to time.
