Not all primrose lovers have enough space to grow tulips, hyacinths, muscari and other bulbous plants.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to act in such a situation.

The solution is quite simple: if there is no suitable place on the site, plant primroses in pots.

For this purpose, wide rather than tall containers are suitable. Make sure that the soil layer under the bulbs is approximately 20 cm, and above them – 10-15 cm.

To get a beautiful and dense bouquet, place the bulbs densely and close to each other.

To make the soil in the pots with bulbous plants looser and more permeable to air and moisture, you should add agroperlite.

The main rule to follow when placing bulbs is to place them evenly, not haphazardly. Depending on the shape of the pot, this can be done in rows or circles.

Finally, after planting, experienced gardeners advise adding a small amount of fertilizer on top so that it gradually dissolves and nourishes the bulbs.

By the way, this idea is perfect for implementing plans to decorate a porch, gazebo or any other place in the garden.
