In the middle zone, most flowers should be sown for seedlings in March, but there are those that require much earlier sowing.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh listed the names of plants that need more time to awaken and grow.

Verbena hybrid

Verbena undoubtedly owes its popularity to its decorative qualities. The plant requires a lot of light, and its flowering period lasts from early June to late autumn.

Gaillardia aristata

Most gardeners grow this wonderful perennial as an annual. You can enjoy the bright bloom of gaillardia from mid-July until late autumn.

Garden carnation

Carnations should be sown no later than January. Six months will pass from the date you planted the seeds before they bloom to decorate your flowerbed.

Helenium autumnale

This perennial flower is distinguished, first of all, by its unpretentiousness. Every year the flowering of helenium becomes more and more lush.

Delphinium hybrid

Delphinium cultivated, or hybrid, is loved for the variety of shades, shapes and sizes of flowers. If you bought a packet of seeds for the first time, keep in mind: they need stratification, so they need to be taken outside, where they are buried in the snow until spring.
