A self-respecting gardener will never refuse to learn how to increase the yield of tomatoes.
An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh spoke about Maslov’s method, which is often used for these purposes by gardeners.
This option can be used for tall tomatoes (those that reach two meters or more).
To do this, you need to take care of sowing seedlings in advance, which must be overgrown and healthy.
Don't forget to illuminate the seedlings - this is the only way they will have a chance to grow thick and strong.
By the time it is time to plant tomatoes in the ground, they usually reach impressive sizes and bloom.
You will need to clear the plant stem of excess leaves to a height that is approximately one third of the height of the bush. This part, together with the root, is destined to be in the ground.
It is also important to correctly lay the root itself. While the above-ground part of the plant should be facing north, the root should look south. The growing tomato will stretch towards the sun, and its trunk will straighten.
After this, you will need to do the garter and lead the bush into 2-3 stems. In this way, you will get a powerful and superbly developed root system, which is responsible for obtaining an early and abundant harvest.
