According to data recently published by the National Statistical Committee, Belarusians currently earn an average of 2,363.4 rubles.
We are talking about the nominal accrued average wage for October 2024.
At that time, the department noticed the highest salaries in the capital – Minsk residents were paid an average of 3,149 rubles 40 kopecks.
Regions
In second place after Minsk is the capital region, where you can receive an average salary of 2,406 rubles 20 kopecks.
The Gomel region closes the TOP-3 of the rating – here Belstat recorded the average salary at the level of 2,134 rubles 60 kopecks.
Next in descending order are Grodno (2,111.9), Brest (2,110.9) and Vitebsk (1,988.6) regions.
The outsider of the salary rating is Mogilev region. Local employers pay an average of 1,974.6 rubles.
The highest paid workers
The statistical committee also calculated the average wages of workers in the country.
I found out that the leaders are representatives of the information and communications sector – 5,646 rubles 60 kopecks on average.
The top three also includes financiers and insurers (3,578 rubles 90 kopecks) and builders (2,951.5 rubles).
Fourth place goes to those engaged in professional, scientific and technical activities – 2,919 rubles 40 kopecks.
In 5th and 6th positions are workers in industry (2,622.8 rubles) and transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,463.7 rubles).
Mogilev region
It is worth understanding that the figures given above are merely average statistical indicators.
In reality, today's (November) salaries for Belarusians may be either higher or lower than average.
But let's talk about the first ones. There are actually quite a few of them. Including in the regions. For example, in the Mogilev region there are salaries from 5,000 to 7,000 rubles.
Who is offering such money and to whom? Judging by the vacancies in the database of the state employment service, two employers.
One of them is the Bobruisk consolidated printing house named after A. T. Nepogodin. It needs a director, to whom it is ready to pay from 5,000 to 7,000 rubles per month.
The second is the company "Tossat". For work in Mogilev, it hires a mason, a carpenter-concreter and a roofer for metal roofs.
The organization is ready to provide all these specialists with a salary of 5,000 to 5,500 rubles.
Other TOP salaries
In second place in the ranking of the best salaries in the region are salaries ranging from 4,200 to 4,700 rubles.
Thus, the deputy director of the Mogilevkhimvolokno enterprise (Mogilev) can earn exactly 4,200 rubles.
The already known to us company "Tossat" has prepared a salary from 4,200 to 4,500 rubles for an assistant roofer on metal roofs (work in Dribin).
JSC "Khotsimsky Technocomplex" is looking for a director. Promises a specialist from 4,500 to 4,700 monthly rubles. Work in Khotsimsk.
The TOP-3 is closed by a salary of 4,000 rubles from Stroytrest-Holding.
The organization hires a foreman to work in Mogilev.
In addition to professional competencies, the latter is required to have higher education and relevant work experience.
