The National Bank of Belarus informed its compatriots about average interest rates on ruble loans and deposits.
Thus, the average rate on new ruble loans (excluding preferential ones) for organizations in November, as in October, was 11.5%.
As for individuals, the rate fell by 0.3% to 10.1% per annum, the regulator’s press service reported.
The average interest rate on new ruble deposits of Belarusians in November settled at 13.2%.
Overall, the rate for new fixed-term ruble deposits for individuals was 11.3%.
Please note: the bulk of deposits attracted by banks were loans from 1 year to 2 years at an average rate of 13.7% per annum.
Since the beginning of the year, term ruble deposits of Belarusians have increased by 2.6 billion rubles (+32.6%).
As of December 1, 2024, the total amount of such deposits was 10.6 billion rubles.
