Recently, the National Statistical Committee presented updated data on nominal accrued average wages in Belarus.
The agency calculated that in October of this year it amounted to 2,363 rubles 40 kopecks.
The highest of the salaries mentioned was observed in the capital – in October, Minsk employers paid workers an average of 3,149 rubles 40 kopecks.
The TOP-3 also included Minsk and Gomel regions with indicators of 2,406.2 and 2,134.6 rubles, respectively.
They are followed in descending order by Grodno (2,111.9), Brest (2,110.9) and Vitebsk (1,988.6) regions.
The Mogilev region closes the rating of October average salaries in the regions of the republic – here they earn 1,974.6 rubles. On average.
Workers
Belstat also reported which Belarusian workers in October could boast the highest average salaries.
These are those employed in the information and communications industry. Their October salaries averaged 5,646 rubles 60 kopecks.
The top three workers with the best salaries also included financiers and insurers – 3,578 rubles 90 kopecks on average.
In third place are builders, who earned 2,951.5 rubles in October. On average.
Next come representatives of professional, scientific and technical activities - 2,919 rubles 40 kopecks.
After them are Belarusians working in industry (2,622.8 rubles) and in the field of transport, warehousing, postal and courier activities (2,463.7 rubles).
Gomel region
All the figures mentioned above are only averaged statistical indicators. That is, real salaries can be both higher and lower.

If we talk about the regions, some employers offer individual workers salaries that exceed those in the capital.
