In the first quarter of next year, prices for roaming communications services in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union may change.
The cost of the relevant tariffs is expected to be adjusted downwards.
This was stated by Maxim Ermolovic, a member of the Board on Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, during a meeting with Alexei Borodin, General Director of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications.
Maxim Ermolovich reported on the activities of the commission aimed at introducing fair tariffs for these services in the countries of the union in the first quarter of 2025, Belta writes with reference to the press service of the EEC.
The member of the Board expressed confidence that through joint efforts comfortable conditions will be achieved for citizens of the EAEU countries.
He explained: this concerns the fee for roaming in the territories of the EAEU states, “the amount of which is as close as possible to the domestic tariff.”
