The unstoppable Bitcoin is rising in price at an unimaginable speed, breaking record after record, inexorably approaching the $100,000 mark.

Today, November 21, at around eight o'clock in the morning Belarusian time, the value of the main cryptocurrency once again updated its historical maximum.

According to information released at 07:56 (Minsk time), the growth of the digital currency was 5.78%.

At that time, the price of one bitcoin was fixed at $97,476, TASS reports , citing data from the Binance platform.

And by 08:12 the cryptocurrency accelerated its price growth even more and was already in the region of $97,480 (growth – plus 5.93%).

Analysts do not rule out that in the near future Bitcoin will surpass the $100,000 mark and continue to “fly” upwards – perhaps aiming for $300,000.

At the same time, experts admit that corrections will occur during this trend, meaning that Bitcoin may slow down. Or it may not.

Experts say that one of the main reasons for its phenomenal growth is Donald Trump’s promises.

They concerned the transformation of the United States into a global cryptocurrency hub, the revision of the Securities and Exchange Commission's policies, and the formation of Bitcoin reserves in the country.

The second reason is that during periods of geopolitical crises, investors view Bitcoin and some other digital currencies as a kind of safe haven asset.

For reference

Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer payment system that uses a unit of the same name to record transactions.
