According to the results of the first 9 months of this year, the foreign trade turnover of goods and services of Belarus increased by 5.6% compared to the same period last year.
The figure now stands at $73.7 billion.
The press service of the National Bank of the Republic reported this, publishing the relevant statistical data.
As for the export of goods and services, according to the regulator, it grew (compared to January-September 2023) by 4.4% - to $36.7 billion.
Exports of goods increased by 3.1% (to $29.6 billion), and services by 10% (to $7.1 billion).
The volume of imported goods and services increased by 7% to $37 billion.
Imports of goods increased by 7.6% (to $32.5 billion), and services by 2.4% (to $4.5 billion).
As a result, the balance of goods and services for the period from January to September of this year amounted to minus 355.9 million dollars.
It is noted that the negative balance of foreign trade in goods (-2.9 billion dollars) was not fully offset by the positive results of foreign trade in services (2.6 billion dollars).
