Belarus' GDP changed in the first 10 months of 2024

It recently became known that, based on the results of 10 months of this year, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Belarus has changed.

The adjustments were recorded in the direction of growth. In particular, the indicator of the main economic indicator for the specified period grew by 4.2 percent.

This figure was released by the press service of the National Statistical Committee.

According to the agency, in current prices the country's GDP volume settled at 204.3 billion rubles.

The indicator in comparable prices compared to January-October last year was 104.2%, that is, growth occurred by 4.2 percent.

And the GDP deflator index for ten months of 2024 compared to the same period of 2023 was 109.7%.

It is worth noting that, based on information from Belstat, GDP growth in the republic has been slowing for the third month in a row.

Thus, according to the results of 10 months of 2024, as already noted, it amounted to 4.2%, but according to the results of 9 months - 4.5%, for January - August it amounted to 4.9%, and for January - July - 5.5%.

It was previously reported that, according to the approved forecast, GDP growth of 4.1% is expected for 2025.
