In our country, there are plans to lift restrictions on the size of pensions for those pensioners who work.
This change was supported by state leader Alexander Lukashenko.
Yuri Senko, head of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus, shared this information with representatives of the media.
This was reported by the Belarusian Telegraph Agency " BELTA ".
What changes await working pensioners
The issue of the need to abandon restrictions on the size of pensions for such citizens was discussed several months ago.
We are talking about Yuri Senko’s June report to the President of Belarus.
Even then, it was proposed to introduce additional material incentives for those citizens who continue to work after retirement.
Attention was drawn to the fact that this category of citizens is not paid a pension in excess of the individual earnings coefficient of 1.3.
This means that some working pensioners are effectively losing some of their pension benefits.
However, in the future, this restriction should cease to apply. In other words, working pensioners will receive 100 percent of their pension and 100 percent of their salary.
Senko emphasized: today, October 15, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko spoke in favor of the corresponding innovation.
The lifting of restrictions related to the size of pensions will become possible after the relevant decree is issued.
