According to the National Bank , in September individuals sold cash and non-cash currency worth 379.8 million dollars more than they bought.
The total volume of cash and non-cash currency sold by individuals last month amounted to 1,225.2 million dollars, and purchased – 845.4 million dollars.
Over the first 9 months of this year, sales of cash and non-cash currency by individuals exceeded purchases by $1.26 billion.
Business entities that are residents of Belarus acted as net buyers of foreign currency last month.
The purchase of currency by enterprises exceeded sales by 371.9 million dollars in equivalent.
The total volume of currency sold by legal entities last month amounted to $2.557 billion, while that purchased amounted to $2.929 billion.
Over the first 9 months of this year, the purchase of currency by legal entities exceeded sales by $1.92 billion.
