Recently, information appeared about how much money Belarusians spend in domestic stores on average in one day.
According to calculations, the average daily amount of money left by Belarusians in retail outlets is 25 rubles 70 kopecks.
The press service of the National Statistical Committee reported this.
The agency calculated that since the beginning of this year, our compatriots have spent an average of 25 rubles 70 kopecks daily in the country’s stores.
For comparison: for the same period last year, the figure was 22 rubles 20 kopecks.
That is, spending has increased, which is due to increased consumer activity, thus affecting the average bill of a Belarusian.
Belstat also reported that over the first 8 months of this year, retail turnover in the country amounted to 57.5 billion rubles.
This is 12% higher than the figure for the same period last year in comparable prices.
By the way, in catering establishments, that is, in cafes, fast food outlets, restaurants, and canteens, Belarusians spent a total of 3.9 billion rubles in the first 8 months of 2024.
