How entrepreneurship is developing in Belarus
According to Belstat , in 2023 the number of active organizations increased by 2.6% compared to 2022 and reached the maximum number in recent years – 106,949.
The largest share of active enterprises last year was in trade – 33.5%.
There were 10,580 new enterprises in 2023, which is 35.3% more than in 2022.
The survival rate of organizations within 2 years after “birth” last year was 71%.
The highest level of “survival” was demonstrated by social services and healthcare enterprises – 83.1%.
714 organizations showed an impressive growth rate in 2023, their number increased by 18.4% compared to 2022.
