Probably every second person complains about their boss.

At the same time, sometimes it doesn't end with simple disagreements: people quarrel, squabble, insult. And the latter, alas, is the prerogative of those who occupy a higher position.

Ordinary employees react to this clearly abnormal state of affairs strangely: they endure, remain silent, resign themselves, and then cry somewhere in the corridor or in the ladies' room. Why does this happen?

This is a consequence of the so-called slave mentality. Unfortunately, in recent years, employers have felt like kings and gods in the labor market, because there are more unemployed people, and therefore more people willing to work.

They proudly declare that there is a line behind the fence to get to them and never tire of repeating this stupidity to anyone who “dares” to argue and defend their rights.

Such permissiveness creates complete social and legal insecurity for a simple, modest and responsible worker.

The main reasons for the passive position of employees.

They have low self-esteem. From childhood, such people are taught that they must please everyone, work hard and not quarrel with anyone.

They are afraid of scandals like fire, so at any hint of rudeness and boorishness they immediately fall silent. They do not know how to respond in kind, to put in their place ill-mannered impudent people who imagine themselves to be superhumans.

A boss position does not give the authority to insult and raise one's voice, although the newly-minted bosses themselves do not think so. So they assert themselves at the expense of morally and spiritually weak subordinates.

If a person respects himself even a little, he will quit such a company in the nearest future. The rest only hold on due to their inability to fight back.

However, they do not need this, because they are absolutely sure that they do not deserve anything else. For them, the leader is always right, because he is smarter, more literate, stronger, richer. At first they listened to their parents, then to their educators and teachers, and now they have a similar attitude towards their boss.

They have nowhere to go. Let's say an employee has a loan, a mortgage, sick parents, a non-working wife with a small child.

Therefore, everyone must be provided with a more or less decent way of life: buy quality food, clothes and shoes, do repairs, treat, take on vacation. That is, he cannot escape from his position, because if he leaves, the source of income disappears. And this will definitely happen if he starts arguing with the boss and pointing out his mistakes, blunders and bad behavior.

It is clear that the boss will not listen to anyone, especially if he is toxic. But he can easily and simply take revenge for freedom and forgetting of boundaries. For example, fire under the article. Now the daredevil will not only lose his salary, but will also hardly get a job in a normal place.

In fact, it is not without reason that employers are interested in the financial and family status of applicants.

If they have no debts to banks, are alive and well, have their own housing and other sources of income, then they are rarely hired.

After all, such an employee has nothing to lose, so he will definitely start to assert his rights and fight against injustice.

Even if he leaves, he will not lose anything from this. This is due to the inhumane attitude of the bosses towards their subordinates.

They want them to be afraid of losing their place and for this reason silently endure rudeness and an unacceptable tone.

And it is useless to put pressure on self-sufficient and independent individuals, because they will not only leave such an office, but they will also definitely report it to the labor inspectorate, and the prosecutor's office, and even write it down on the "black list". And they will be 100% right.
