A motivated businessman works with greater pleasure, more efficiently, more actively and faster.
Motivation is often the key to success in any endeavor.
How Rich People Motivate Themselves
Millionaires are practitioners who strive to immediately implement their ideas, “seize the moment,” without thinking for a long time.
Money is just a tool for millionaires. There is always some big motivating idea and goal behind capital.
Often, rich people started their journey from total poverty. These harsh conditions pushed them to action, forced them to climb out and compensate for what they had not received earlier.
And having reached heights, they do not stop and set new, larger and more ambitious goals.
How to create motivation, where to start
Motivation can be:
- positive (awareness of the benefits of achieving the goal);
- negative (the bad thing that will happen if the goal is not achieved).
There are also different levels of motivation:
- instrumental (mechanical action; example: I just put bricks one on top of the other);
- targeted (achieving some clear goal; example: earning money);
- semantic (high, often transcendental meaning of an action, idea; example: I am building a temple).
Basic recommendations for creating motivation
1. It is necessary to set a clear goal, write an action plan, start performing tasks and getting the first results, write everything down. Even these seemingly simple things will already motivate.
2. Answers to the questions “Why do I need this?”, “What will this give me?”. Example: “Why – to earn money. Why earn money – to buy a house. Why buy a house – to live with a family. Why live in a house with a family – to be happy.” Each answer will take a person to a new, more powerful level of motivation.
3. All your goals and plans need to be written down by hand, spoken out, discussed with like-minded people, visualized, displayed in the form of collages, videos.
4. Answer to questions:
- What good will this do me?
- What bad thing will happen if the goal is not achieved?
- That nothing good will happen if the goal is not achieved.
5. Creating an artificial crisis in your life. If a person lives with parents who provide for him, then motivation will be extremely low. It is recommended to create artificially harsh conditions under which it will be simply necessary to do something.
Clear goal setting, regular internal motivation, actions and regular results that strengthen self-confidence are what will certainly motivate and help each person achieve their goals.
