Many housewives are not satisfied with store-bought mayonnaise because it contains a lot of calories and has little benefit.
The way out of this situation is to make homemade mayonnaise.
The main thing is to take a responsible approach to choosing a recipe, because most instructions for making homemade mayonnaise suggest using a large number of eggs, which is why the resulting product cannot be called dietary.
An equally tasty, but much healthier option for dressing salads and other dishes is prepared from the following ingredients:
- 300 ml vegetable oil;
- 150 ml milk;
- 1 tablespoon mustard;
- 0.5 teaspoon sugar;
- 1 pinch of salt;
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
Pour milk and vegetable oil into a blender flask. Add the remaining ingredients – salt, sugar and mustard.
All of them should be beaten until a uniform consistency is achieved.
After this, you can pour lemon juice into the future mayonnaise and beat it thoroughly again until the product thickens.
It happens that at this stage the mayonnaise still remains liquid. If this happens to you, try leaving it alone for 10-15 minutes, and then blending again.
Transfer the finished sauce to a storage container and place it in the refrigerator.
