If there is paint left over after a renovation and there is no place to store it or it is impractical, then the only option is to use it for its intended purpose.

Depending on the color, interior and personal preferences, you can choose one of the proposed options.

Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told how to originally use the remains of paint after renovation.

Furniture

If you have wooden furniture in your home or garden, you can give it a new life. The only thing you will need to do is to cover the repainted items with a wear-resistant varnish.

Vases and flowerpots

Every housewife has at least one or two plants or at least vases for flowers in her house.

Repaint your flowerpots, planters and vases in one color, or make artistic painting, ornaments, inscriptions.

Slopes

A more practical solution is to repaint the window slopes. It is especially effective if the colors are bright and it is late autumn and cloudy outside.

Framework

If there is still paint left after this, then feel free to paint photo frames, paintings or mirrors. But it is better to use a color different from the main background.

Walls

You can repaint one of the walls, making it an accent. This option can be called successful if the paint color fits harmoniously into the interior.

In other cases, you can paint the walls with geometric shapes, patterns, or free-themed scenes.

Doors

The only thing that has not yet been repainted in such cases is the doors, which can become an accent in the interior.
