Furnishing an apartment is not an easy task, which only gets more complicated when you have to deal with small rooms.
Even the slightest mistake can lead to the fact that coziness and convenience will only be a dream.
To help you avoid common mistakes and create a beautiful interior, expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino shared practical advice on choosing a color scheme for the walls in a small room.
So, for a long time it was believed that beige and light tones are the ideal solution for small spaces.
However, as practice shows, too light shades can make a room look dull and inexpressive.
On the other hand, darker colors can create a depressing atmosphere.
What to do? Use a neutral color, or better yet, two, one of which should be contrasting.
A brighter color will come in handy to create an accent, which, by the way, can be placed not only on the wall, but even on the ceiling.
The main thing is that there should be only one bright spot in the interior.
If you are going to glue wallpaper with a pattern, take a responsible approach to choosing the color.
In small rooms, large images visually bring the walls closer, making the room appear even smaller.
And vice versa, small patterns constantly ripple in the eyes and put pressure on the psyche.
