How to Make a Wallpaper Basket
In addition to the wallpaper, you will need cardboard, from which the blank of the future basket is made. The bottom and walls are connected using paper tape.
Once the first stage is completed, you can move on to the wallpaper, which needs to be cut into strips 9 cm wide.
Fold each of the resulting strips in half lengthwise, and don’t forget to tuck the edges inward so that the product looks neat.
It is recommended to iron the strips, having previously covered them with gauze. In order not to damage the material, do not set the temperature too high - "two" will be enough.
You need to connect the wallpaper strips with hot glue.
Start at the bottom of the basket and glue the walls, forming coils.
The basket can be of any shape: round, oval or square.
The main requirement is to take into account the circumference of the base and stick to an even number of stripes to ensure symmetry.
At the final stage, after gluing all the strips, you can add decorations, such as ribbons or other decorative elements.
