Stretch ceilings are, if not the most popular, then certainly one of the options for decorating ceilings in an apartment.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, there is such a variety of them on the modern market that your eyes run wild.
In addition, the price of stretch ceilings is quite affordable, and installation is simple.
At the same time, the question of which design option to choose in order to avoid getting into trouble remains open.
Interior design experts unanimously shout: do not choose glossy ceilings or those with floral, marine or any other similar print. These are the first signs of cheapness.
The only case where glossy ceilings are appropriate is the bathroom, where it will echo the glaze of the tiles.
A model worthy of attention is a matte white stretch ceiling made of polyvinyl chloride.
The beautiful white surface is the basis for any interior and a wide field for creativity.
In the evening, colored zigzags may appear on the ceiling, which are replaced by uniform white light or a bright outline. A light fantasy can be placed in the under-ceiling space. And under it, in bedrooms and living rooms, spot lighting is installed - this, frankly speaking, is extremely convenient.
If for some reason you do not agree with this solution, take a closer look at more expensive stretch ceilings.
They are based on a fabric made from special materials. However, the choice of colors is somewhat limited, and the available shades look a little muted due to the texture.
Such ceilings are called chintz, although they have nothing in common with cotton. In fact, it is polyester with a special treatment.
The fabric has micro-holes that allow the ceiling to “breathe”.
The fabric texture, close to natural materials, has nothing in common with the cheapness of plastic. And you can also decorate the ceiling with acrylic painting - for those who want to bring a little luxury to the interior.
