A small bathroom is not a problem if you know how to make a limited space stylish and comfortable.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, spoke about how to transform any toilet or bathroom.
Using angles
If you use the standard layout of plumbing fixtures in the bathroom, the corners will remain empty. Try to use at least one corner, placing a toilet in it, for example, and you will see how much the boundaries of the space have changed.
Compact plumbing
Excesses in decoration and furnishings have nothing to do with order and comfort. To make any (including small) bathroom convenient, opt for modern and compact plumbing, single-color dark tiles and a minimum of details.
Contrast trim
Instead of hoping that light finishes will “push” the walls and make the room feel more spacious, consider playing with contrast: let the walls be dark and the floor light, or vice versa. This technique is much more effective in expanding the space – visually, of course.
Storage spaces
The best possible option is built-in wardrobes. You can store towels and other necessary "accessories" in them. Open systems are also acceptable - in this case, you should choose among shelves made of glass.
Mirrors
Mirrors are your irreplaceable assistants when it comes to visually expanding space. You will be able to achieve a special effect if you install two mirrors opposite each other. And of course, you should not forget about mirrored furniture.
Instead of a bath - a shower
A shower with a glass partition is a great way to save space while maintaining the functionality of the bathroom. There is a wide range of shower cabins from different manufacturers on the market, so everyone can find a suitable option.
Proper lighting
As we know, you can't do without quality light. If you don't want lamps to take up space that you don't have, get built-in wall lamps.
