Outdated Gray
Gray was at the peak of popularity about 10 years ago, and since then it has been losing ground year after year.

As a result, a room decorated in shades of gray seems monotonous and depressive, oppressive and cold.
What to do? Look for a neutral color with a warm undertone: creamy beige, caramel brown, warm blue or green.
Sterile white
White can indeed be the perfect background color, but only if it is chosen correctly.
In no case should you opt for cold shades of beige, unless, of course, you are aiming to make the living room sterile and lifeless.
White with blue or gray shades also looks harsh. Conversely, warm cream or beige shades make the room look welcoming.
