The specialist is sure that it is possible to turn an apartment with a Soviet interior into a "candy" by performing relatively simple actions and without huge expenses. And almost nothing needs to be thrown away.

Furniture update
Don't rush to get rid of your old sideboard or Soviet wall unit.
This furniture can be updated. Just repaint it.
It turns out that this action is enough to make old pieces of furniture look modern.
Old upholstered furniture can also be updated. All you need to do is put a beautiful bedspread and decorative pillows.
Refresh the walls
You can re-glue the wallpaper: choose a plain paper finishing material.
Or you can simply remove the old wallpaper and cover the walls with paint.
Check old decor
Don't rush to get rid of old and "outdated" things (carpet, Soviet porcelain figurines, etc.)
Check these items. Throw away only those that are in poor condition.
And leave most of the retro things: thanks to them, the apartment will remain cozy.
