Before you start decorating your kitchen, decide on the style in which the kitchen will be designed, as well as the color palette of the room.

The main task, of course, is to eliminate the feeling of crampedness and constraint associated with the small size of the room.
This can be achieved by using light shades that will fill the kitchen with air and visually increase its size. The recommended color scheme includes milky, light beige, ivory and pastel shades.
The main advantage of these colors is their harmonious combination with natural materials (stone, wood) and bright colors (red, green, blue, yellow and others).
If you are a fan of dark shades, they should be used exclusively as accents. Of course, you can find a use for them in wall or floor decoration, but in this case, the effect of expanding the space will not be achieved.
