Thus, gloss can visually enlarge the kitchen due to the effect of a mirror surface. This makes it an excellent choice for owners of small "food blocks". The downside is that fingerprints, splashes and other dirt, of which there are many in the kitchen, are very visible on glossy surfaces.
In turn, on matte furniture with a pronounced texture, for example, “wood-like”, stains are almost invisible, but cleaning them will take a lot of time and effort.
The conclusion is this: if you evaluate the ease of cleaning, the most preferable option is smooth matte surfaces.
Don't be too quick to relax: now you have to decide on the color.
According to the designer, the most impractical is a black set, as well as dark purple, brown or a single-color set, on which dust and fingerprints are clearly visible.
To avoid having to do a thorough cleaning of your kitchen every week, armed to the teeth with rags and cleaning products, give preference to kitchen units in natural shades, such as green, gray or blue.
Avoid too dark and saturated tones, it is better to choose a muted color scheme.
Also a good option would be facades with imitation wood texture, stone chips, patterns or mother-of-pearl inclusions.
