Those who rent an apartment or simply do not want to undertake a full-scale (and therefore expensive) renovation should take a closer look at the tricks in this article.

They were shared by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino - such tricks have nothing to do with serious financial investments and at the same time are capable of transforming an apartment beyond recognition.

Replace the bulbs

A necessary component of any stylish interior is quality lighting, so if your light fixtures are dusty or have turned vintage, consider replacing them.

The choice of warm or cold light depends on which shades are predominant in the interior.

Get some flowers

Use vases for fresh flowers all year round, not just on holidays – choose small bouquets in flower shops or buy wild flowers from grandmothers at markets.

Speaking of the kitchen, there is another option: fill the windowsills with pots of herbs – mint, rosemary, thyme, basil, etc.

Remove the carpets

Old and worn-out flooring is a sign of a cheap and unpresentable looking interior.

Get rid of worn-out carpets – your apartment might look much better without them if you paint and wax the floors.
