But many gardeners have not come up with anything new except planting grapes next to it. And others are not embarrassed by the very idea that grapes on the gazebo give a so-so harvest.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told how else you can decorate a summerhouse or an open veranda.
Flowers
Vegetation is the best decoration for summer cottage buildings, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be grapes.
An alternative is any climbing plant or flower – wisteria, ivy, roses.
Garlands
Flowers need to be looked after, and if it is an annual plant, then new ones need to be sown every year.
Therefore, a garland can be a solution. These can be ready-made options or several bulbs connected in a chain.
Lanterns and old kerosene lamps look great.
Pillows
If you trim the grapes, you can add cushions.
It is advisable to choose covers in the same color scheme, in harmony with the general background. Add macrame decorations and other hand-made crafts.
