So what if the corridor is a walk-through room?
This fact does not mean that it does not need beautiful design and decoration, says Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti.
Perhaps the simplest, most understandable and to some extent universal decor is wall decor, especially when it comes to a small or narrow space.
It is easy to overload the interior of the hallway, so it is worth avoiding a complex plot and bright tones that do not fit well into the color scheme of the room.
Instead, look for fine art that repeats the tones of the trim. A neutral poster will do the trick.
Here you have to decide for what purpose the decor is used.
If you want it to simply dilute the space and add dynamics, choose a painting that matches the shades of the floor and walls. If the task is to make the image an accent, choose a picture in an original frame or hang photos of family members, thus creating a kind of portrait gallery.
Finally, we will share one more life hack: to visually raise the ceiling, you should purchase vertical paintings or vertical compositions of several posters.
This technique is often used by interior designers who have to work in Khrushchev-era buildings or apartments where the ceiling height is no more than 2.3 meters.
Earlier we talked about which interior design habits could be rethought.
