If you live in a rented apartment, the owner of which does not allow you to “drill holes” in the walls, or want to decorate your workspace in the office, or fell in love with wall decor, but do not want to spoil the fresh repair with nails - this is the place for you.
In this article, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, listed the methods by which you can attach decor to walls – without nails, dowels, screws, etc.
The cheap way
You can attach decorative elements to walls inexpensively (relatively) using adhesive mass (for example, Bostik Quelyd Blu Tack). Its consistency resembles plasticine or chewing gum.
You will need to knead a small amount of the mass in your hands, then apply it to the photo frame and then press the resulting structure against the wall.
To, on the contrary, remove traces of plastic from the wall, it is worth using the same composition.
Important: this method, like all others, has weight restrictions.
The expensive way
Hooks with Velcro will leave the walls undamaged (again, let's give an example: Command 3M has proven itself well).
They can support a product weighing no more than 2 kg. There are also some downsides: such hooks are not compatible with vinyl wallpaper.
