However, there are universal ideas that can make even such a small home cozy and beautiful. They were shared with us by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", designer Yulia Tychino .
Doors painted to match the walls
To ensure that the door fits harmoniously into the surrounding space and does not stand out too much from the general background, paint it a light color or the same color as the walls.
As a result, the door will seem to “dissolve”, and you will be able to create the visual effect of a wider space, which is usually not typical for Khrushchev-era buildings.
Decor in the form of original elements
It is rare to make a small apartment original with its decoration and furniture, so the best solution is to make the interior neutral and add character and individuality to it in specific places – for example, by emphasizing the hatch in the bathroom with louvered doors or placing an antique stool in the kitchen.
Such examples give the home its own unique character without harming its space.

Open cabinets and shelves look much lighter than closed ones, but maintaining them in order is not so easy.
