How to Refresh Your Living Room: It's Time to Get Rid of These Things

Experts often repeat that the best way to refresh the interior is to get rid of unnecessary things and also to tidy up the house.

Both are not a problem if you have free time. An additional plus is that such an interior update will not cost a penny.

Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told us what things need to be taken out of the living room.

First of all, souvenirs

First, one souvenir appears in the house, and soon a whole collection of trinkets appears, for which one day you have to hang an additional shelf.

In reality, there is no benefit from souvenirs, only difficulties with cleaning and visual noise.

Secondly, there is a wide range of flowerpots

Decide on a single style of flowerpots and do not turn the room into an impenetrable jungle. There should be exactly as many plants as there is enough strength and time to pay attention to each one.

Thirdly, the wires

This is not only about extension cords and portable power strips, but also about chargers.

There is no place for these things in the living room. Put them in a box or drawer, or take them to a distant room where they are rarely seen.

Fourthly, waste paper

Utility bills, work papers, brochures from stores and even fashion magazines – all of this needs to be put away and left in the closet if you like to recycle waste paper.

Fifthly, "painting"

If it is not the hand of an artist, but the work of a printer or other low-quality painting bought at the market to hide a hole in the wallpaper, then it is better to hang several family photos in a frame.

Earlier we told you why the walls in the entrances of multi-story buildings were only half painted .
