Conduct an audit
Even if you're pressed for time, try to quickly go through your belongings to get rid of all the unnecessary stuff - junk should be thrown out, things you no longer need can be given to friends or sold, and things you plan to use later can be donated to a storage service.
Use whatever you have on hand as packaging
To avoid spending hours searching for packing materials, use what you already have – suitcases, bags and packages (even trash bags), old newspapers and blankets.
Do not label boxes
Unpacking things in a new place will, of course, be more difficult if you refuse to label the boxes, but this will save you time during the move itself. However, it is still better to mark fragile things - for example, with brightly colored tape.
Don't disassemble the furniture
If you need to transport furniture in a short time, it is recommended to leave it in the same condition as it is in the room. However, you should take this into account when choosing a truck and the services of movers so that all items fit into the vehicle, and you do not strain your back carrying large-sized furniture out of the apartment.
