In this regard, a range hood is somewhat similar to a dishwasher: today you may think that you are quite capable of washing dishes on your own, but with age this task becomes more and more burdensome.
It is quite possible that after some time, children will appear in the house, who will change your mind about the need for a dishwasher in the house. But, unfortunately, it will be too late, since when planning the interior, you did not take into account the place for its installation.
The same situation applies to the hood – now it may seem to you that you don’t spend much time in the kitchen, but after some time your taste preferences may change or your family may become larger.
Therefore, before you finally dismiss the idea of installing a hood, be sure to weigh all the pros and cons.
And finally, we will share one more useful piece of advice: when choosing and installing household appliances, keep in mind that a separate hood in a row of cabinets looks, to put it mildly, not very good.
It will be much better if you build the hood into the upper cabinet or install an accent model on the wall where there are no cabinets.
