What should a kitchen faucet be like? Answering this question, I would like to name its characteristics such as reliability, durability and convenience.

But how to choose exactly this equipment from the wide range presented on the market? Expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", designer Yulia Tychino advises to first decide on the design of the plumbing.

Depending on the appearance and material, there are three types of mixer design.

Two-valve mixer

As the name suggests, this type of design has two taps, each of which is designed to supply hot/cold water.

This option is perfect for the kitchen of those who prefer conservatism and commitment to the classical style.

These taps allow you to easily and conveniently regulate the flow of water. They operate independently of each other, which provides flexibility in use.

Single lever mixer

The control is carried out using a special lever. To open the tap, change the flow rate, adjust the temperature of the working environment, it is necessary to lift it and turn it in the desired direction.

Single-lever systems provide simple and quick adjustment of water pressure and temperature.

This system ensures that the water supply is immediately shut off when the lever is lowered. There is no need for additional actions to close the tap.

Touchless faucet

To “activate” the mixer, you only need to bring your hands to it, which makes this design the most hygienic.

One of the disadvantages is the high cost of the mixer.

Earlier we named 3 things that will ruin any kitchen.
