The quality of floor hangers is determined not only by their design, but also by the material from which they are made.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti and designer, shared a brief description of the materials used in the production of hangers.
Tree
Wood is an expensive and durable material, but wooden hangers are not suitable for damp or wet clothes. Also, make sure the product is carefully polished and varnished - this will help prevent snags on clothes.
Rattan
Rattan is distinguished by its density and lightness. In addition, rattan hangers always look stylish and can fit into any interior.
Metal
The most durable of all available materials and, in addition, has a wide range of colors. Forged models look the most attractive and are resistant to any loads. But there is a drawback - such hangers can be quite heavy.
Steel models are suitable for winter clothing, while aluminum ones are only suitable for very light clothing, as they are easily deformed.
Chipboard and MDF
Hangers made of chipboard and MDF are much cheaper than wooden ones. This material is used to create floor-standing hangers. Hangers made of chipboard are usually cheaper than those made of MDF, but the latter are considered more environmentally friendly and safe.
Plastic
Plastic hanger racks are ideal for summer clothes, they are not very durable, but they come in a wide variety of designs.
Earlier we talked about how to make repairs so that they don’t become outdated in a year.
