Some year, spotlights burst into the interior, and many even refuse the usual ceiling chandeliers in favor of small dots.
Designers consider this a mistake that worsens the interior and lighting of the house.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told us which lamps and in which rooms to use.
Firstly, you can’t leave one source
If it is a ceiling chandelier, then it should be accompanied by a floor lamp or wall lamps.
Otherwise, the renovation will appear unfinished.
Secondly, temperature
Everyone likes white cold light. With the same power consumption, the room becomes noticeably brighter.
However, warm light, which is more often called yellow, is comfortable for the human eye.
Thirdly, power
There are standards for each room – residential and domestic.
For example, in the kitchen, the ceiling light should produce 75 watts. The chandelier in the living room should be rated for 75 to 80 watts.
But secondary lamps can have a power of 60 W.
Fourth, the "dot"
The desire to use only spotlights is justified if we are talking about a bathroom or hallway.
In all other cases, you cannot do without auxiliary light sources.
Previously, we talked about how to refresh your interior without major renovations .
