There is no point in talking about the advantages of a dressing room. Such a system is better than any closet or built-in furniture.
The main thing is to have some idea of what should be in the wardrobe so that it remains functional, useful, and roomy.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior, told how to arrange a dressing room.
1. Size
There is no point in making a dressing room whose depth is less than 110 centimeters. If the area does not allow, then in this case it is better to think about a closet.
2. What's inside
Inside, you need to use all the space - from the floor to the ceiling. These can be racks, shelves, drawers, hangers and other storage systems. Closed shelves are not needed here.
It is advisable to divide the hangers into two levels - this makes it more convenient to store seasonal clothes.
Don't forget to leave space for storing shoes. Again, consider the seasonal factor.
3. Order
To prevent small items from piled up on open shelves, consider using containers or boxes.
Nowadays you can buy any box with partitions, which is convenient for storing various small items, such as jewelry or underwear.
Lastly, don't forget that you need to use every available inch of space in your walk-in closet, which means hanging clothes hooks, organizers, and other accessories on the door.
Earlier we talked about where to store things in the hallway if there is no space in the closet.
