The items discussed in this article are not in themselves clutter or untidy, but their mere presence creates a feeling of untidyness.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, told us what spoils the impression of housing.
Wires and cables
Not only do cables hanging under the table or extension cords lying on the floor get in the way, they also make cleaning much more difficult and the appearance of the room suffers greatly as a result.
Of course, it wouldn't hurt to take care of this problem at the renovation stage. But if you want to solve the problem here and now, try hiding long wires in boxes and fixing them under the ceiling or baseboard, and the rest can be organized using special holders.
Ironing board
Never leave an unfolded board in the middle of the room - if you do not have a separate room in your house for washing, drying and ironing clothes, do not be lazy to fold the ironing board every time and hide it behind a closet or take it to the pantry.
Brushes, mops and brooms
As convenient as it may be to keep your cleaning tools in plain sight at all times, to avoid creating the illusion of disorder, try to find a place for them where brushes, brooms, mops, etc. are not an eyesore.
A narrow cabinet in the kitchen or on the balcony is perfect for this purpose.
Containers for small items
Of course, not all containers are associated with disorder, but only those that for some reason do not have a lid. Instead of accumulating unnecessary junk in the form of receipts, coins, torn buttons and other things for years, and not closing the “hard-earned” with a lid, try to get rid of the junk.
Keys
To prevent keys scattered on the first horizontal surface in the hallway from “cluttering” the interior, get an organizer or at least hooks that should be glued to the front door.
