When it’s hot outside, you want to do everything possible (and even impossible) just to somehow lower the temperature in the room.
Typically, we are talking about shading windows. In this case, curtains, blinds or aluminum-coated film are used.
However, these are not all the ways to protect yourself from the scorching sun rays. The expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", designer Yulia Tychino, told about an unusual option that undoubtedly deserves your attention.
To bring the idea to life, you will need self-adhesive transparent film. You can buy either a matte product or one with a pattern applied to it.
The cost of such a film is usually low, and you can probably find it in every hardware store or place that sells wallpaper.
Before you start gluing, make sure that the glass in your apartment is clean.
You can stick on a whole sheet of paper – and then you will get the effect of ribbed glass, or cut out any fragment (for example, a rhombus) and, repeating it many times, create a simple pattern on the window.
The film glued to the glass does not in any way interfere with cleaning – you can still wash the windows whenever the need arises.
And when you get tired of the film, it can be easily removed by blowing a stream of warm air from a hair dryer onto the coating.
