Sometimes you need to divide one room into several living areas. This is a great way to organize space without re-planning.
This can be done with light and color, different floor levels, but the most effective ones are shelving, wooden slats or textiles.
Textile
The densest fabric is used. Usually, a part of the room near the window is allocated. This is how bedrooms, work areas or recreation areas are usually fenced off.
Can be combined with a partition, shelving, or other built-in furniture.
Rack
It looks much lighter and can also be used as additional storage space. The best solution is to install the structure from floor to ceiling. If the room is dark, the rack should be open.
In a more spacious and bright room, you can install a partition cabinet.
Lamels
They are wooden slats installed vertically. They help to “raise” low ceilings, visually increase the space, especially if you hang a mirror behind them.
Another popular way to zone space is to use sliding doors made of frosted glass.
