Thanks to living greenery, the interior acquires a more harmonious and pleasant appearance. The hallway is no exception to this rule.
Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, told what rules should be followed when placing indoor flowers in the hallway.
First of all, you should make sure that your “green pets” receive enough light.
In this case, you have two options: choose shade-loving plants for placement in the hallway or install specially designed phytolamps here.
In any case, try to place the pot opposite the door leading into the room or kitchen so that the flower has access to sunlight.
If you have chosen a tall plant for the hallway, for example, a palm tree, the flowerpot should be placed on the floor.
If we are talking about small plants, they should be placed on a cabinet, shelf or shoe rack. Here everything depends on the characteristics of the flower: an elongated "pike tail" will feel great at the bottom, and creeping ivy needs to find a place on a shelf so that its branches hang down beautifully.
Another important point: make sure that the flowerpot is as far as possible from batteries and light bulbs that emit excess heat.
