Decorative partitions made from slats are used to divide a room into zones and have recently become extremely popular.
Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino shared the rules and secrets of installing a slatted partition on a suspended ceiling.
The first step you need to take is to make a mortgage for the entire length of the slats and 5 mm above the suspended ceiling.
Now you can start the final finishing – the floors and ceilings should be in place.
Using a laser, determine the places where the slats will be attached. Where you plan to attach small embedded parts, stick adhesive tape to the floor and ceiling using screws.
Once the preparation is completed, you can begin installing the slats.
First, the auxiliary part (embedded part) is installed to the floor and to the ceiling using self-tapping screws on our adhesive tape, after which you will simply have to insert the main part (which is the full height) into the groove.
In this case, the stretch ceiling should be slightly lifted so as not to damage it, while placing the slats where needed.
Continue installing the remaining slats in exactly the same way. Note that the attachment point should be left on the inside to make it invisible.
