What things are cluttering up your kitchen: get rid of these items and the room will become more spacious

Every centimeter counts in the kitchen – owners of small kitchens know this firsthand.

Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, spoke about what makes a kitchen cramped.

First of all, you should get rid of large containers of sugar and salt - in order not to take up useful countertop space, replace bulky jars with miniature sugar bowls and salt shakers.

In addition, it is worth finding a more suitable place for a stand mixer.

If you use the equipment for its intended purpose only a couple of times a month, put it in the pantry or replace the stand mixer with a hand mixer - it takes up much less space, and does its job just as well.

The same should be done with an external dish drainer - of course, it should not be put in the pantry, but only in the kitchen cabinet above the sink.

By the way, many housewives remove the bottom of this cabinet so that water from the dishes flows directly into the sink, without accumulating inside the kitchen unit.

Finally, we can't help but mention the dishes - we are not suggesting that you put away the cups and plates that you use every day: we are talking about the so-called holiday dishes. You can find a place for them somewhere in the attic.
