Using furniture in the same shade as the walls allows you to “dissolve” bulky objects in the space.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino , this technique is especially relevant for small spaces.
How to properly apply this trick in practice?
For example, if we are talking about built-in wardrobes, you should select or paint the facade in the color of the adjacent wall.
In the case of a sofa, it is worth choosing a similar shade of upholstery, thanks to which you will be able to turn a bulky bed into a harmonious and, what is even more important, almost invisible element of the interior.
However, making all the furniture and decoration in one color is a bad idea, because as a result you will get an uninteresting and oppressive space, as if made of heavy blocks.
You can forget about comfort in such a situation. Moreover, it will be difficult for you to simply be in it.
Therefore, this trick should be used to disguise massive interior items – not all of them, but just one or two.
