The easiest way to make a room visually wider is to wallpaper the walls, but not every tube will do for this purpose.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, listed the characteristics that wallpaper used for this purpose should have.
First of all, it is worth choosing single-color samples. Another option is canvases with a barely visible simple pattern in a non-contrasting color or in a shade close to the main tone of the canvas.
Please note: the lighter the palette, the more space it can provide.
Conversely, a pattern that is too large will make the room appear smaller, so choose wallpaper with a pattern that is proportional to the area.
Another way to expand space is to use an accent wall.
It can be turned into a panel with a properly selected geometric print. By properly selected here we mean not a small pattern without frequent repetitions.
Other walls need to be transformed into monotonous surfaces tending towards white.
