Size is one of the key characteristics that those who come to the store for new furniture take into account.
Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, explained why you shouldn’t choose the largest bed from all the samples presented at the store.
While you may be tempted to stretch out in the star pose without disturbing your peacefully sleeping partner, it's worth considering the practicality of the situation.
The thing is that a large bed does more harm than good, since it will take up at least 50% of the room, and that's in the best case scenario.
But you still need to somehow “squeeze” bedside tables, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a mirror, a TV, and also leave space so that you can move freely around the bedroom.
If you value space, you should opt for a more compact and laconic sleeping area.
At the same time, do not forget to pay attention to such an important detail as the headboard.
It should be light and minimalistic. Excessively high backs, headboards upholstered in velour or carriage coupler, as well as anything with hanging cabinets on the sides are prohibited.
