As you know, it is easy to make a mistake when decorating an interior. Especially when it comes to color combinations.

To avoid annoying mistakes, apartment owners who are planning a kitchen renovation give preference to light and monochrome interiors, where all elements will definitely match each other.

To prevent such a room from looking boring, it is customary to add bright accents to it.

Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, told what bright accents in the kitchen can be, and what, on the contrary, should be avoided.

So, good options are chair upholstery, tablecloths, curtains, table napkins and other textiles.

Jars and containers intended for storage and placed on open shelves, dishes, etc. can become bright.

But you shouldn’t use large, independent accents – this includes a contrasting apron, colorful textiles, or colorful floor tiles.

Such elements most often stand out from the overall interior, which is why the space no longer looks unified.
