It is impossible to name the exact number of sockets, as well as to outline a plan for the electrical wiring, without knowing the functional zones of the bedroom and the location of the furniture here.
Therefore, to answer this question, the expert of the online publication Belnovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, advises mentally dividing the room into a sleeping area, where the bed and bedside tables will be located, a storage area with a wardrobe and/or chest of drawers, and, if available, a work area.
The classic version, which is usually used to illuminate the sleeping area, looks like a block of two sockets located above the bedside tables.
The distance from the sockets to the surface in this case is 15 cm.
Important: Since many modern devices are charged via USB, it is worth providing sockets with such outputs here.
You also need sockets in the storage area, where you can plug in cabinet lighting or charge your phone.
Typically, the distance from the socket to the floor in this case is 5 cm.
For the work area, you will need the same two blocks with two sockets. The first one should be installed at a height of 30 cm (for the computer), and the second one – at a height of 15 cm from the table surface (it will be needed to connect additional light).
In addition, the bedroom needs sockets for the TV, if it is, of course, placed here, and for household appliances - it will be convenient to use a vacuum cleaner if the socket is located at a height of 30 cm from the floor and 10 cm from the doorway.
